Patricia Azucena Diaz Motz, artistically known as Patty Dimo was born and raised in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. She studied painting from 1997 until 2002 in the art studio of Carolina Carias in which she is still part of, and which gave her the opportunity to participate in numerous collective exhibitions in her country and internationally, where she has received recognition through multiple awards.
I contemplate the world in terms of color and layers and this heightened awareness has literally colored my perception and influenced my painting to achieve a blend of harmony, dynamism, and strong color, which extends to the subjects and concepts of each of my paintings.
